Sarah Luna heads up Ikon’s newest venture, Ikon-Arizona. She brings over 30 years of legislative and political experience to our creative communications team including stints as staff director for two former Members of Congress and communications leader for numerous bipartisan political campaigns and issue initiatives. Sarah’s specialty areas include comprehensive communications planning, legislative research and advocacy, media relations and training.
Sarah also has significant business and nonprofit association experience most recently as Director of Communications for the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. Her work for IKON includes full-scale advocacy program management, communications planning and execution, and organizational development. In what has been deemed “a breakthrough idea in advocacy,” current Arizona projects include assembling a bipartisan, diverse group of high level stakeholders and community leaders across Arizona to effectively communicate on complex conservation issues.
Luna majored in English (with a Minor in Political Science) at the University of Tennessee and continued her education at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She resides with her husband, Phillip, in Tempe. They have a son, Brad.
